A former Senior Vice President at a Fortune 15 corporation, co-founder Claudia Jones volunteers as the Chief Finance Officer for HTP Homes. During her 24-year career she managed both small and large direct report teams and convened larger interdepartmental teams for special critically important projects. Her responsibilities also included developing communications strategies, multicultural community engagement and managing multi-million budgets. She is now using her extensive leadership and governance skills to foster economic change in historically neglected communities. She represents HTP Homes on the Maryland Statewide Alliance for Returning Citizens (MSARC) and sits on its Job Training, Employment and Second Chances Subcommittee. MSARC was formed in August 2021 under the support of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland Reentry and Community Outreach Program. It is a convening of nonprofit organizations from all over Maryland that provide services and resources for returning citizens, justice-involved persons, and their families.
